Because it will take you out of your comfort zone! But why is that so uncomfortable? Why do you not see this as a privilege and gift that this is the right way to make a difference! If it did not feel unfamiliar, you would not change a thing. And you want that, don’t you? So it MUST feel uncomfortable.
Hence, the problem is not in the fact of starting a diet or taking the first step towards your goal, but clearly in your mindset.
Why you think the way you think right now has many reasons that you will find in your life so far. You are like this because you have had experiences over the past few years that have made you the person you are today. That is good, be proud of yourself!
But, if you do have a goal and you are sure that you want to go the way now, then recognize the reasons for your way of thinking, take them by the hand and accept them. This is the first step in getting out of your comfort zone.
Accept and get started! Then the day does not matter at all. Whether it is Monday or Wednesday, it will not feel more comfortable. The only thing that helps is to start! What are you waiting for? Let’s go!
Why do we always put off starting a diet / muscle building program etc. (“I’ll do it tomorrow, feast one last time today”).
