All questions aiming at one and the same answer: It is okay not to drink alcohol! Because since when and why has drinking alcoholic beverages become so normal and an everyday companion in society?
At Butterfly Coach, we want to show you the healthiest way of life that you can best cope with. This lifestyle is and remains individual, so that everyone has to define it for themselves. Nevertheless, there are of course facts that are healthier for the body than others. This includes the issue of alcohol. We do not want to ban you from drinking alcohol, we just want you to know that consumption naturally affects your body. Possible effects are, for example, that caused by alcohol
your protein synthesis worsens,
your sleep cycles for a restful sleep are disturbed, which can lead to food cravings,
blood sugar levels and insulin sensitivity are increased and
alcohol calories instead of macronutrients are preferred by the metabolism.
In the short term, all of this may be acceptable, but in the long term, regular consumption of alcohol can be the reason why you are not achieving your goals.
So if you have now (even if only exceptionally) decided not to consume alcohol, you will certainly have to justify yourself. So that you do this with the utmost conviction, we would like to give you the following on your way:
You do it for yourself and you are “better” than the others. You know what is good for you and you know that, for example, you will be more productive, energetic and healthier the next day. So you can use tomorrow 100 % instead of sobering up on the sofa.
You are one step closer to your goal than 5 steps behind.
There are super tasty alternatives that do not make you dizzy and do not overwhelm your body. How about a non-alcoholic cocktail or flavored water?
It is NOT normal to say “yes” to alcohol and abnormal to say “no”. Stay with you and your decision. You will grow from it!
